Antarctica, Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil

Northward to Iguazú Falls

The next morning took us to the tiny Ushuaia airport and the dreaded (by me anyway) charter flight back to Buenos Aires. But that would not be the end of this journey! Another flight after that whisked us farther north to the renowned Iguazu Falls.

Here are some photos:

The next morning, we were back aboard the horribly cramped AlbaStar 737, heading north to Buenos Aires. At least this time there were only two of us in our row, so it was not quite as horrible as the flight to Ushuaia 10 day earlier.

We only spent a few hours at the Buenos Aires Airport before we boarded yet another plane, this time headed to the far northern reaches of Argentina.

As we pressed farther and farther north, the sun set, putting on another magnificent display. Antarctica was behind us (literally some 3800 miles behind us) and an entirely different adventure was in front of us. This trip was definitely not over.
